Outstanding opportunity in a growing practice in Western Pennsylvania for an enthusiastic Diagnostic Radiologist. Our independent practice has a total of 16 radiologists and covers 6 hospitals, as well as an imaging center. We are an independent group and the exclusive providers of radiology services throughout the system. The hospital system has recently merged with Duke Lifepoint Healthcare, who is in the process of making a $550M capital investment. The main hospital is a 450 bed trauma 1 center and boasts 4 residency programs. A completely new outpatient medical/surgical center is scheduled to open within the next 18 months, in which our practice will have a large footprint. The new center will have two top of the line CT scanners, 2 MRI scanners, 3.0T and 1.5T respectively, and a full womens imaging center of excellence. We offer a very competitive salary and benefits package. Our practice is located only 90 minutes from Pittsburgh, 3 hours from D.C., 4 hours from Philadelphia and 5 hours from N.Y.C. This practice embraces Radiology 3.0 with quality programs and initiatives in dose reduction, lung cancer screening, and improving turn around times. We truly understand the service concept and inculcating our staff into the fabric of the hospital community. We have daily trauma rounds, attend tumor board conferences and morbidity and mortality conferences, participate in many hospital committees such as medical executive, credentials, bylaws, oncology and peer review to name a few. We work hand in hand with the hospital in a truly alligned fashion although at the same time keeping our independence.
